I’m Listening To Hear GOD!

When considering the advice we receive we should always listen to hear GOD. Yes! Even when speaking to others. While communing with friends, family, co-workers or the like we must ask ourselves is JESUS speaking or someone providing worldly wisdom? The world has a way but JESUS is THE WAY! If we listen to hear GOD we are for sure to inherit the blessings bestowed upon those who choose to trust HIM. Trust HIM today. HE is faithful, merciful, loving, and kind. Make this declaration: “I’m living to please GOD and listening to hear GOD in every area of my life!” Worldly wisdom has not been very effective or beneficial to the world. From the crops, to the animals, and the environment as a whole there has been great damage at the hands, thoughts, and ideas of man. Now can we even imagine how greatly this further impacts our families, ministries, businesses, and the like. “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”-James 3:17. So how do I determine what a GOD-driven and based conversation consists of? Purity. There should be purity found in the words being spoken by both parties in order to ensure a healthy and Holy communication. Peaceable. If it challenges my peace or someone elses’ this may very well not be a GOD-centered conversation. Is it Gentle or abrasive in speech? Does it cause me or others to be easy to be intreated or stubborn and sour? Is there mercy being shown for all participants and circumstances presented? These are all key points to determining if we are hearing or have heard from GOD while speaking with others. And even if the other party did not initiate a GODLY communication you can always activate a GODLY response. Words are extremely powerful so we must always mind what we say but even further then this we must be mindful of what we hear and choose to listen to.
