Kacey’s Adventures! 🙄🤨🫠

Kacey: “Mama I saw a bird yesterday!”

Mama: “Oh Kacey that’s nice.”

Kacey: “ Yeah. It was a big one too! So I had to look twice. I got really close to it so I could see it in the light. But then mama you’ll never guess what happened.”

Mama: “What happened Kacey?”

Kacey: “Just as soon as I got close, That bird grabbed me by my coat.”

Mama: “It did what?”

Kacey: “ Yeah, mama! Yesterday a bird dropped me on a tree.”

Mama: “On a tree?”

Kacey: “Yeah I wasn’t worried because I just knew you were gonna come save me. I even called on Tommy but he was nowhere to be found. So you know what I did mama.”

Mama: “What you do Kacey cause I’m trying to figure out how you be doing all this at school lately?”

Kacey: “I pulled my bookbag close on my back so I could tighten the straps and then next thing I know I heard Susie yell out “Somebody help me I’m trapped.”

Mama: “She was trapped?

Kacey: “Yeah mama, yesterday I saw a lion.”
Mama: “A lion?”

Kacey: “Yeah it was rushing right towards Susie but I stopped it mama! Stopped it right in its tracks. I dropped to the ground and said “Scar get back!””

Mama: “Scar?”

Kacey: “Yeah mama because Mufasa and Simba would never.”

Mama: “Kacey this sounds like a lie.”
Kacey: “Mama I swear I’m not lying Mama, Susie Lou was just crying. I helped her out of the trap and we walked back to school.

Mama: “So you telling me all this happened yesterday and you’re telling the truth?”
Kacey: “Mama I’m telling you and it’s true, that’s all that I can do.”

Mama: “Kacey I’m not about to play with you and your vivid imagination.”

Kacey: “Mama I’m just trying to tell you how I escaped every temptation. Then I looked on the board and Ms. Comer was drawing a snake! I said Aw Nah! Ain’t No way all of this is happening today! Get me out of this class I’ve really had enough.”

Mama: “Alright now Casey where are you getting all of this stuff? Ain’t nothing you saying sound nothing like the truth. Mrs. Comer is your math teacher, drawing snakes is not something she would do!”

And just as they were speaking Casey’s brother Tommy walked into the room.

Kacey: “Right on-time Tommy, tell mama I’m telling the truth. Tell her yesterday was crazy and all of the things I told to you.”

Tommy looked at Kacey and looked his Mama in her eyes and said “Mama I know you love Kacey and you really do be trying but mama sometimes Kacey just need to stop all of that lying! Kacey ain’t told me nothing about what happened at that school. I saw Kacey sitting in class reading a book about the zoo. When I heard her telling her story, I started to say, “Kacey Stop Lying!” But then I’d get in trouble because you said just say she’s not telling the truth.”

Mama: “So Kacey you mean to tell me, “You made all of this up?”

Kacey: (Laughing)” Yeah mama that was some really funny stuff.”

Mama: “Kacey it’s good to have an imagination but you must always tell the TRUTH. Lying is not right. It is not what children of GOD do.”

Kacey: “I’m sorry mama it won’t happen again.”

Mama: “That’s ok Kacey. You might end up making film. That story was good! I couldn’t wait until the end!”

Kacey:” I got it mama. I know what I’ll do. I’ll start writing stories entitled: ‘Kacey’s journey and adventures.’ So other small children can use their imaginations too …” (The End)
